Church in India lost our six colleagues on 26 February 2023 in a road accident. Fr. Mathew Das, Parish Priest and Principal of St. John’s Higher Secondary School, Barama in Bongaigaon Diocese in Assam, as well as of Fatima Sisters Milagrine Dantas, Promila Tirkey and Rossie Nongrum, together with Mr. Myron Ranger, teacher at the school and Mr. Sanjay Sorgoyary, the driver of the ill-fated car involved in a most tragic road accident on Sunday 26 February 2023, at Sumer, Ri Bhoi District, Meghalaya.
